    Kramer Allrad 120

I did email them as soon as I bought this machine. They didn't reply. Phone calls during work hours are tricky at the moment, I'm pretty flat out. Next time I get a spare 20mins I'll try though.

Small pivot steer for cleaning out - buying advice.

This was my biggest concern. A nursery I contract for have 2x Weidemanns, a 2008 1240, and a new electric one. The 1240 has constant issues with grease nipples on the pivot pin, and does have some play. You just know that when it does go, there will be sufficient damage to both chassis...

    Kramer Allrad 120

I'm not quite sure I want to class 1998 as 'classic', but it's definitely not modern! The other week I bought this old Kramer Allrad 120. It's working and useable, but needs a few bits put right. I was originally after a skid steer, but I need to be able to go over grass and soil, and they...

Small pivot steer for cleaning out - buying advice.

I've also just bought a Kramer, just under 4ft. I was looking for a skid steer, but they can tear ground up quite badly (if you need to go over grass/soil). Only main issue so far is sorting out suitable brackets for implements.

    Muck Grab & Pallet Forks

I'm after a 4ft muck grab, or one I can cut down to around 4ft. Also looking for some pallet forks, including the carrier/frame. It's for a small machine, so don't want anything too heavy duty. Looking for old/tatty implements as will need to make alterations anyway. The closer to Stansted...

Muck grab and pallet forks WANTED

I'm after a 4ft muck grab (or a larger one that can be cut down). Also after pallet forks, including the carrier/frame. It's for a small machine, so not after anything too heavy duty. The closer to Stansted Airport, Essex, the better!.

    Yard drainage / soakaway

It's only a 15ft run to the ditch, and I've already got a length of solid pipe that would do the job...

    Yard drainage / soakaway

I'm only using the term 'soakaway' as it's a recognised term. Realistically it's more of a surface water collection point, which will then drain into a pipe, into the ditch. At a rough guess, I'll have about 1.5-2.0m from the finished road surface level, to the bottom of the ditch. So if I...

    Yard drainage / soakaway

I'd be less concerned if it was just cars driving over, but there will be an occasional lorry...

    Yard drainage / soakaway

"My plan is to dig this area out, create a sump/soakaway with hardcore, and run a pipe to the ditch."

    Yard drainage / soakaway

The entrance to my yard is the lowest point, which then crosses a ditch at the roadside. The whole yard has a gentle slope to the entrance. I've always allowed surface water to run down the entrance to the ditch. But I've now starting improving the ground, so I drag less mud onto the road. I've...

    Insuring a backhoe?

NFU said they'll only quote including liability ins for my business as a whole, and not just insurance for the machine. She seemed surprised when I said quote for it all then! Should get a call/email tomorrow.

    Insuring a backhoe?

I've got an unusual machine which is effectively a light tractor with a backhoe (albeit front mounted). It's road-legal. I'm struggling to find insurance for it, and after a conversation with NFU mutual today, it sounds like it's because of the intended use. Part of my work is gardening /...

    Drott vs JCB?

Some of the lanes are very tight and overgrown. I have no mechanical knowledge of these machines, so anything you can tell me would be very useful!

    Drott vs JCB?

Not really, I just take on the types of jobs that everyone else seems to cry off of. lol

    Drott vs JCB?

I've looked at tractor attachments. So far I haven't found one I haven't dismissed.

    Drott vs JCB?

It's not my Avant. Hired in machine. The point of having it was to avoid an extra machine. A machine able to load and transport could take the place of a dumper and an excavator (used as a loader), but only if it's powerful enough. Trailers are generally out of the question, other than for...
