Would anyone happen to know the difference between a DP7F and a 140MA?
I'm thinking in terms of headstock strength, build quality, etc. Also the legs on a DP7F seem to be at right angles to the frame whereas on the MA140 they are swept back and curved, does that improve trash flow through it...
Sorry for yet another baler thread and apologies if asked before, but whats the general opinion on film on film roller balers, specifically a fusion 3? Looking at going back to a roller baler from the vario as most of what we do is silage, a couple of customers have asked about film on film.
Do...
Looking for a grain dryer, electric drive, oil fired. Ideally 12/15 tonne batch drier or small continuous flow. Could possibly change requirements if something would fit our system
Got a oldish (1999) Chafer Mirage that has suddenly lost its drive, the brakes wont come off, and the steps don't go up which I assume are linked to the brakes. All other hydraulic functions (steering, drive to sprayer pump, and boom functions) are working. Having spoken to my local sprayer...
Does anyone have a source for the non genuine knives that bolt on to the rear beaters on the Richard Western muckspreader? Spaldings do the straight ones but not the twisted ones, can only source genuine off a dealer. Thanks
Hi. Has anyone ever recharged the damper ram on a kuhn plough? Theres an Allen bolt screwed into the end presumably for this purpose, wondered if I was right, what oil, and how much to put in. Going over a bit faster than it used to do.
Having laboriously drilled thousands of acres over the last 35 years with various power harrow/drill configurations, we've bit the bullet this year and bought a s/hand horsch sprinter on duett coulters. To say I'm dissappointed is an understatement. We know very little about how these things are...
What’s the view on these machines? Good or bad. Looking at a possibility for either straight into stubble, a secondary pass after the sumo, or as an alternative to the power Harrow on ploughing. What would be the minimum hp per metre if working shallow.
Thanks.
Does anyone have any idea on an easy fill method of hyd oil in the mirage sprayer. Had a couple of pipes go over the years and it could do with some in but the only way I can see is either through the breather which is sooooo slow, or take all the screws out on the top of the tank. Not quick or...
Hi all. The buzzer on our fusion 2 monitor has decided to buzz really faint, if at all. Can barely hear it so have to use the screen or the pressure gauge to know when its got a full bale etc. Adjusted the settings on the monitor to maximum but still no use. Anybody had any experience of...
We have ploughed some of our land which dries out nicely on the top when it stops raining but is quite soft underneath the surface. Normally we go ok with the combi but the weight this year is a big issue. Thinking of going back to basics, power harrowing first shallow, leaving for 24 hours rain...
Got an ongoing problem on 6830 tractor. Dealer attempted to fix umpteen times and also had it in to workshop but despite sending a (very large) bill, it remains unsolved.
Tractor will start when cold no problem, even in depths of winter. However if it has been working relatively hard and then...
The fan has been on a go slow in the cab for a while and now it has packed up completely. Someone suggested there are 2 fans, well nothings working. Any idea on where to start even looking for the fan(s) and what might be wrong, or should I just get someone out for some extortionate amount of...
The lube pump on our fusion 2 has packed up, or at least, it doesn't now use any grease or oil, maybe it isn't the pump. I have put new set of seals in the pump but to no avail. Has anyone else had an issue, should we replace the pump or could it be something else?

I know a lot of folk use wood chip / sawdust / pulverised timber for cattle bedding which ultimately gets spread on the land. Does anybody spread the stuff direct on the land without it first being used as bedding, and are there any likely disadvantages of it. Looking to use it as a soil...
Has anybody had any issues running a fusion on a t7 using the load sensing? Dealer has had 2 attempts to plumb it in in different places on the tractor and it's still crap. When wrapping, the ring is erratic thus causing the wrap to brake on about 10% of the bales. Used it on JD and never done...
