    Applying Lime

Got a bit of ground that was improved in the past but reverting to heather slowly, actually quite nice ground that could be worked. Never had much to do with heather or how to get rid of it. Someone I’d be speaking to said give a nice dose of lime? @Macsky

Farmers earn more from YouTube than their crops

I stopped watching back when he went on holiday because it’s quite obvious he has little input and when he does is shot down and frustrates the hell out of him and at the time I needed more positivity in my life

    MF Quicke Faster Attach

Yes but sit down when you get a price for it. Thought one here was knackered back in October after someone was a bit rough with it, managed to change an internal part with little cost but the whole assembly was big 💰 £1500-2000 rings a bell. I was going to go the opposite way and do away with...

    Kia Sportage Clutch

Bought our 16 plate Kia Sportage with 45000 on the clock last year. It’s had 2 gearbox issues in that time and the clutch just recently. Managed to get them all on warranty after a lot of pushing and holding our ground. Away for a fuelling issue which is looking like injectors but the Xmas break...

Will soon see, The buggers can walk off with steel ones so Time will tell. Main advantage for us is anyone will be able to shift them and will save going in with a tractor 2-3 times a week turning it into a war zone.

    New toy day

Got a couple of these to try for making life easier wintering cattle on forage crops. Made out of alkathene water pipe, supposed to weigh 30kg. Last year we put out a months worth of hay in the frost on kale but some of our cattle feeders were too heavy for some to shift daily

    Air Source Heat Pumps

That’s the point, we had wood pellets in a previous house before moving in here and it was fine but was a bit niggly for domestic considering it was a premium make. Sister in law has gshp and was 10yrs old in a new build and needed replacing, considering the cost of it really puts you off the...
