Cluster flush wouldn't work here, clusters are removed and taken to the dairy for the washing cycle. It's not much bother dipping the clusters, a bucket in-between each two, doesn't take long.

    Fuel price tracker

When my FIL worked for a fuel company here in north Wales. They would normally get stock from Ellesmere port, . They sold fuel cheaper down to pembrokshire, than what they would at home patch in north Wales !

I didn't. I found it a royal pita to do . As arla wanted us to cut down on tubes. At the time we decided to teat seal everything and only 3 titted cows or a mastitis case in the last lactation would get dry cow tubes. It's worked ok untill the end of 2022, had a huge spike at the begining of the...

I've sod all milk in the tank ATM which is not helping at all and a fair few that are starting to go stale and will need drying off soon. Hopefully when they go out...

Strep ubris. I've a serious outbreak here since the end of december, and can't get on top of it. Cell counts have been sky high since December, but had very little clinical signs, no warm swollen quarters, no clots etc. Been stripping cows and CMT but couldn't find anything. So tested whole herd...

    BT /Open reach

I go through bt's cable nearly once a year here hedge cutting. It's been layed along one of my boundaries, it should be buried, but in parts it's in the bottom of the hedge, in others it's in the middle, others it's just layed on the top of the hedge. Other parts it's cable tied to my barbed...

    BT /Open reach

A few years ago before we had fiber to premises. I was online one afternoon, and all of a sudden the internet stopped working, checked the phone and no dial tone either. We were getting so much trouble with the line at the time I got to know a few of the staff at the Scottish call center by...

    8 spline PTO ?

Yes it will be job done once job done. Also will probably increase the value of the tractor somewhat. I never knew there was an 8 spline available

    8 spline PTO ?

A quick Google shows only AliExpress that sells an 8 to six spline adapter. Better off if possible to swap the shaft on the tractor.

    Electricity tariffs/Prices

Had an email last week off E d f, just letting me know that if I didn't book my smart meter installation this week, my tarif would possibly increase to £2.50 sc and £1.15 and £1.08 pr kWh. . I've not heard much good, and no signal here either, and I'm quite happy to send my meter readings once a...

    Ifor brake repair

I had a similar conondrum with my 1992 dp120. Brakes were shagged, and the drawbar needed work. Did think of swapping it for a new/newer one, but my old dp120 was bought new with drop down sides, rear jacks and ramps. And I couldn't find a similar trailer second hand, but the brakes would still...

    Arla

A bit disappointed we won't be receiving a hamper this year. Out of the 9 product coupons we have been given, there's only the costello, lurpack, and anchor products that would be any good here. The bottles of cravendale, yeo valley organic and bob products, are no use, as we have a tank full...
