Oversown clover with a slurry tanker on very old poor permenent pasture, it was not a vacuum tanker but a self fill one. Put in a couple of jam jars full into the slurry and agitate then spread onto field.

Shave the whole field, flail mower if possible, disc it if possible and broadcast westawold and italian ryegrass into with Alsike clover, it will open up the grass and you can sow a more permenent solution in an year or two.

This information is worth how much you paid for it.
Possibly 254 x 146 x 31kg meter would be strong enough if the total span is 50 feet. You would need to extend the middle stanchion. At 15 degrees it wont be much more than 4 - 5 foot. Draw it out on a concrete floor with a chalk snap line...
Stem injection is the way to go.
You cant dig it up and bury it, if you miss a bit it grows again.
Spraying will also kill it, do NOT make it overly strong.
The other way is to bend it near the base and make it bleed itself to death with repeated bending throughout the year.

No, didn't try sidetracked my funds into a 7.5 meter weed wiper. Need to recoup some funds. Your right JD-Kid looking for more of a knife opener to tear through the sward and roots and seed blown into slot with an air drill.

Just broadcast some with a Vicon 400, two of the three holes coverd and no agitator at 12 setting on Nylon regulator, 9 kg onto 5 acres nothing added, Organic farm, shut the gate and left it to its own devicess.

Karliboy, MCPA will do for spraying and will not affect the grass, you will also kill off other MCPA suseptable weeds but better results are obtained if you roll the field before spraying or use 30 gallons per acre rate with a medium spray.

So why dont you use stripper headers and leave the straw standing , it would make Much more sense and you could probably get Much bigger output from a smaller combine which would weigh less, reduce compaction and cost a lot less.
But what do i know, i live and work in the livestock area of the...
Newarc 160 amp, I think its named 1500 now. 100% duty cycle and made in the Uk. Use 4 mm and high yield with no bother but use 16 amp sockets and plugs and 4 mm square extension leads.

It's usually 7 gates and the sheep are in lots about to lamb or just lambed. Also is it possible to do the field at so and so on your way home which is 4 miles in the wrong direction, so ALWAYS BY THE HOUR.
Ritchie
Always done it by the hour, for more than 30 years now. My rate is £28 per hour but needs to go up. So it'll work out at between £1.20 an acre on flat silage fields to £3.50 an acre on the banks with dual wheels.
All on own fuel.
Some research into this brings up some intresting material

They had not been done since they were erected early summer 2013 some bird poop and grime on them even though we get plenty of rain ( 120" annualy ) i thought that they would have been cleaner. So when it comes to our drier weather around end of April i'll do them again.
