    We use ecosyl at 2l a tonne, nice silage. Found the convenience of safesil ( ready to use IBC) good for small bits if need less than 50tonne to finish clamps.

    Crypto in calves.

    We've had a crypto problem for years, calves are all fed on automatic feeder. Feeder was fed from mains water stored in a 200l barrel. This year trying our own water through UV, but not stored. Working on the theory that stored water is no longer sterile, will wait and see if it works

    New Fertiliser spreader time. KUHN, KRM, KVERNELAND or maybe SULKY

    KRM here on our 3rd. Use with GPS patchwork. Weight cells really good and auto calibration means easy to change product or batch of fertiliser as found they run different speeds. Double overlap gives very good spread.

    Changed 10year old Bateman galv tip tanks for teemore stainless steel fast empty. Water is a lot cleaner now.

    Have a torro 6010 behind a claas 650, 185hp. No front weight.Could do with more power on hills. Buckracke only just keeps up now so no need. I only do short trips furthest field 1.5km away.

    Had ours done a few years ago, looked good at the time. But when you look closer the edges of slatts are chipped. Cut groves would be a lot better. If you have automatic scrapers, grove at a slight angle or scrapers jam.

    We had our last tanker with hydraulic pump fitted from new. Find it really good. Doesn't matter what angle tractor and tanker are at can always use pump.

    We are using a high flow selmech. Getting the spraying nozzle in a good place can be difficult.
