Just wondering if there's any further information out yet as to what constitutes no till in the eyes of SFI?
Is it a dts/mzuri/claydon direct into stubble?
Or is it going to be lower disturbance tine or disc?
Supposedly a claydon grain and fert meets the grant spec with the leading tine applying...
Best spray day we've had for weeks.
Best spray day we've got forecast for weeks.
Bloody alternator sh!t itself on the Bateman.
No electrics, no spraying, apparently when the battery gets low enough the engine stops, then the emergency brake applies, even if you're driving down the road!
Ho hum.
I've taken on a few fields and want to subsoil due to past management decisions. I don't do any currently except where I've made a mess with a 16000 L tanker, and using the shaky legs is just to disruptive to the surface and structure. I'd like a leg that is much gentler in it's approach...

I watched the film dirty waters and was horrified by DuPont's actions and attitudes.
I thought they were going to answer all questions, either in the webinar or after it once they had more time?
I haven't seen any of the difficult questions answered anywhere.
Have I missed them?
Anyone had one yet.
Be good to get a heads up on how vigorous they are, as if they find anything wrong they'll be charging as they do for all inspections.
Ok.
Weird one.
My hot and cold tank are the same temperature tonight.
It's a twin immersion heater tank, being heated with surplus solar electricity.
Stats are set on about 65 ish.
Why? How? is it possible for the cold tank in the loft to heat exchange with the hot tank.
Vented cylinder, air...
Well, having got into SFI 2023 with a December 1st start date, there's now more options on offer which I can do without any extra costs or losses of production.
So it seems I'll be starting another agreement, with possibly the magic Feb or March 1st start dates.
Sooooooo, does that mean I'll be...
I'm currently trying to get a part from a dealer in cork.
Seems very hard work and it's apparently due to Brexit.
I don't suppose anyone fancies picking said part up, taking to northern Ireland and posting to me?
I cannot believe how difficult it is.
Any clues as to where I can get a wiring harness from?
Sparex one listed is for dynamo type (probably 4000, not 4110) apparently.
Failing that a wiring schematic to enable a harness to be made would be good.
Have received it yesterday, followed the link to the reduction calculator and it doesn't appear to have been updated for the 2024 year, it only shows reductions for 21,22,23 years.
Have I missed something?
How come literally right next to my mast one of the screens struggles to get the signal, the other two are fine, yet get over a mile away and it's fine.
Indeed it picks up a signal 22km away absolutely fine!
I tried reducing the output wattage of the base and it made no difference.
Weird.
Anyone help with a photo of the wiring of the washer bottle motor loom I'd be grateful.
It's been ripped out somehow and I've no idea where it went to.
Tia
So folks.
Who's done it?
Who's making it work?
What seed rates?
What management?
What crops?
Outputs? (It was mentioned that it's 1.3 times the monocropping option, but was that just oat or both added up because a few beans in an oat trailer would add a lot of weight due simply to them being so...
