    Raising a field with soil dug from the field

    Do you need planning permission to raise part of a field if the soil has come from the same field i.e. where a building is going? Planning officer is going to phone next week and I want to be prepared.

    Right to Drainage?

    Is there such a thing? The planners won’t let us use the neighbours piped ditch to dispose of surface water without written consent, even though the field has drained this way for 40+ years. Neighbour isn’t going to consent and there’s nothing in the deeds as usual.

    Probably a silly question, but how do you bleed the fuel system on a 5000 series John Deere (third world spec) when you’ve run it dry? The tractor has a hand pump and bleed screw on the filter housing.
