    John Deere 6830 Standard Handbrake

    Tractor has been driven with hand brake on. Leaver now comes full up and no brake. Is it adjustable? Is the brake band internal making it a cab off job? Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

    Printer will not wok

    Computer with windows 10 will not print. Printer OK as works with laptop, so presumably nothing wrong with printer. Have reloaded printer driver with no effect.If any one has any ideas I would be grateful.,thank you.

    OSR and badgers

    Our best bit of OSR by far was next to a badger set. Flea beetle obviously do not like the smell. What we need is a spray developing that smells of badger sh!t.

    Several of out hedges are getting smothered and killed by ivy. Has any one else got this problem or knows an answer to it.

    Warburton Contracts

    Why do Warburtons insist that wheat grown on contract for them can only be grown from new seed approved by them? We have managed to keep a relatively clean farm by rogueing and growing our own seed to avoid bringing in weeds. In 2 of the last 3 years the seed supplied for the Warburtons contract...

    greenstar settings

    Have a green star 1800 display 3000 dome and auto track steering wheel. Works fine on the combine and tractor up to 5 MPH but useless any faster especially if ground is a uneven. Have tried all combinations of steering settings. Can any one else make it work at 7 MPH. Grateful for any advice.

    Tine Drills

    We are thinking of changing our accord combination for a tine drill to try to speed things up. Land varies from heavy clay to quite easy working. Can anyone give us any views on the matter. Thanks for any advice.

    Diesel fuel problems

    We have been having problems with injectors, pressure release valves etc. The dealer blames this modern diesel as I has no lubricity in it. We already use Standyne addative this does not solve the problem. Has anyone any views on adding any sort oil to the fuel?

    Electronic Injectors

    Just had to have new injectors in our John Deere, only done 2500 hours, bill £2100. That's almost £1 an hour for injectors. Is this normal? With the old mechanical ones we took them to the local diesel engineers who would calibrate them for £10 each or £50 with new tips. They call it progress.
