Hello all, we are looking for settings to spread buckwheat with a stocks fan jet duo. Does anyone have settings that would get us started please? Looked online and no joy sadly. Thanks
We have both batwing and flail, both have their uses. We use the flail for narrow margins etc and the batwing for wider margins and parkland. If go for a batwing be wary of the yellow and blue brand, parts take ages to arrive if needed and overall finding it expensive to run. Would be keen to...
I have just used the skippy scout today for the 1st time. Very impressed so far with the android app and using it. Quite simple once done a field, organise the scout points, connect drone to app then press fly button and away it goes all automated! Very clever. Looking forward to trying another...
I have just bought the impact gun mentioned at the beginning, very impressed. I was looking at the 3/4 but was advised to get the 1/2 as same power so nowt to gain.
Even though the rowtrac and the smarttrax are identical I was told the rowtrac actually looses power as it has a Dropbox this is how it also has a shorter wheelbase. How true this is am not sure but interesting if so.
I drive a valtra n174 direct and much prefer it to the other 2 tractors on the estate, a jd 6215 directdrive and a fendt 828. Obviously the valtra won't do some jobs the other 2 will but the valtra is still my first choice. My only niggle with the valtra is the time it takes to change from c-d...
Ah sorry misunderstood you, like mentioned you set a min and max limit and leave it to the machine to sort itself out. On osr we just leave it on absolute mode and just leave it to machine to put whatever on in 2 passes. Hopefully will be trying absolute mode on wheat this spring.
As it's a sprayer its calibrated in that way, you can roughly work out how much you need and can always carry it over if any left. We fill up the tanks in the summer when it's cheaper. It's not far out really from just putting it on without the n-sensor but the important thing is that its...
Can see its putting it where its needed and holding it back in the lush/thick areas. You can see it on the display matching with such areas. It doesn't necessarily save on fert it just puts it where it needs to be. Chances are you will also get a comment from combine driver as it feeds better...
The new als 2 scans up to 4.2m wide each side of the machine and this gives an approximate total scan area of 50m2. All been well we are getting the new als 2 for this spring. Am on 30m and it works very well for us.
A bit early to compare to JD, as new engine but I did nearly a days work with a side arm mower and used just over a quarter a tank of diesel, was happy with that as the jd (6630) would have used half a tank easy but haven't looked at figures yet so that's a rough guess.
The valtra is definitely...
Sorry I have no idea on price but will say it was a deal that couldn't be ignored, we didn't intend replacing the jd till April. I am just the operator.
Morning folks, my dad has the above compact and it's lately developed a fault with the hydrostat, push the pedal down and it doesn't move like it should be doing, just really slow. Any ideas please where I could start looking would be much appreciated. Thanks.
