I’m really looking to buy privately something tidy that would be otherwise be being traded in against a new one ie I’d like to buy direct from another farmer!

What’s the lowest rate anyone has has successful control of spring germinating wild oats with.
I’ve been ok at 0.2 but wonder if 0.1 (plus loads of oil) would do it?
Which is the best one of these to get- for changing tractor back or combine wheels?
I see various people do them but I would imagine some are better than others?
Is this allowed?
ie putting a pipe into the bottom of a ditch and covering it over thereby removing the ditch?
I can't find anything in the cross compliance guide to say it is against the rules.
Tried to order a drum drive belt for a JD 9780 from local belt supplier.
Says he can't get one as only available from JD dealer.
Can it really be the case that JD belts are only available from them or does anyone know of an alternative source?

I have bought a greenstar ready JD combine 9780i - its 'greenstar ready and with the right box will steer itself checking moisture yield etc- sadly it's come without a box.

Just been out a walk through the wheat to remove a patch of slender fox tails I spotted from the sprayer yesterday evening.

Been spreading fertiliser yesterday and today.
Set spreader at 180kg/ Ha and having covered 122 Ha the control box said I'd done 125 Ha (near enough allowing for overlaps) and applied 22600 Kg of fertiliser.
A bag count revealed I'd only actually applied 15000 Kg of fertiliser ie an actual...
As an arable farmer (in England) who does not keep any stock what are the rules if I were to let grazing to a neighbour for his cattle.
Do I need to register with the BCMS to do this?
Do I need to declare that I keep cattle on my SPS form?
Do I need to keep a record of cattle on moving on and...
