We bought some new bfs manual adjusting dribble bars but can't get the correct amount out of them when testing with water. The chart says 2 bar pressure on number 2 hole , and we should get 2.34 litres per minute, but we are only getting 2lpm. Any one had anything similar?
Can anyone remember what size wide wheels were on the E series. I am after a set but seems a bit of a mine field regarding offset to allow the steering axle and load capacity.
Any help appreciated thanks.
Anyone use the above with just 4 sections for liquid fert?I wanted to try some this spring but hear I may struggle to push fert up to the end of the section if only 4 sections on 24metres. Any advice welcome thanks.
Anyone that has had a john deere 832 sprayer , just how unstable are they? Looking for a cheap simple sprayer to put some liquid fert through and found a tidy one but remember reading of a few going over. They do look top heavy, but with some wide wheels on would they be stable enough or am I...
I've been looking for a good E series chafer for liquid fert as I don't want to put it through the self propelled, and as yet not found anything. Want an E as budget not great and they are simple and made for the job. How do users get on with other makes carrying the extra weight and diaphragm...
We are after a roller mill ,with a hopper on top to fill with a loader and pto driven. Nothing too special as long as the rollers are in good condition.
I'd be interested to know how the wheat is looking that went in in the frost three weeks ago.
Also which method was used, broadcast, combi , direct? I'm asking as I would like to still get some in if we have another frost ,being as the seed is in the shed.
I've just dropped the oil out of the back end of the 6480, and some silvery sludge came out last. Is there a plate you can take off to inspect the brakes and transmission or do you have to take the bell housing off.
Thanks for any advice.
Would the leading tine on the claydon create enough drainage to keep the deluge of water we have had this year ,away from the seed so that it doesn't blow and rot if drilled in reasonable conditions?
Has anyone a rough idea of price per mile of combine haulage. Combine in Scotland to come to cheshire ,about 310 miles. Have always struggled to get back loads from Scotland.
We ordered and paid for some glyphosate through farmdeals at the end of January. With the weather been nice and settled ,we could do with getting a bit on but not sure when it might arrive. Can anyone tell me please. Many thanks.
Has anyone made a bracket for a large box to attach to the weight holder of a mf6480? I'm after ideas to enable me to fix it using the draw bar pin to secure it, so that it can be quickly taken off if I need a tow.
Any ideas welcome , thanks for reading .
One of our air seats is showing some wear in the rollers, so has some play in the suspension, not bad, but wants sorting. Reading posts on here , it looks like it is a job for someone who specialises in doing the job. Anyone know of such a person?
