Is the answer is to tow some sort of bale accumulator and drop them all on the headlands? May be an expensive investment but could help facilitate what you are trying to do.

Its the fact that the bubble up auger also folds in the tank. You can fill the tank to below the fold point and empty it OK. The problems start when you lift the lids and the bubble up auger is pushing into grain in the tank. The same applies when closing them.

I completely agree that OSR is the source of the slug problem. However I can’t get excited about dropping it for a spring crop with half the gross margin (or less). It is also difficult to keep pulses far enough apart without it.
