Best air powered and manual pop riveter?

Although I love cordless milwaukee tools, I'm trying to utilise air tools for the tools I'd don't use as often. I find the problem with cordless is the parts and reliability once out the warranty. A well oiled, mechanically driven air tool takes some beating in terms of reliability. I'll...

Best air powered and manual pop riveter?

Need to rivet a large amount of standard sized stainless steel pop rivets. Looking at an air powered one to speed the job up, any recommendations, Chicago Pneumatic etc? Also will need a manual one to get in very tight spots, haven't had much luck with cheap/sealey ones in the past. Any ideas?

Diesel versus Petrol powered 3 inch Pacer/Fert Pump

We often end up unhooking the bowser in the corner of the field for the onion drill to use, so in this application a hydraulic pump isn't really feasible. I'm neither a fan of these defending engines, although I don't have much choice! Ah that's interesting, I'll look into Hypro, had good...

Diesel versus Petrol powered 3 inch Pacer/Fert Pump

Looking at speccing our 16000 litre water/fert bowser with a 3 inch engine Pacer pump. The price difference is over £900 for a Kohler diesel over the Honda engine. Will check with supplier, seems the Kohler is a larger HP. Can the Honda manage with pumping fertiliser or is it at its limit? I see...

How tight are your shackles ?

Best solution I've found to this problem, I've found it does a good job preventing it from binding.

    Flail topper

we flail maize stubble down before destoning it for roots. smashing it to pieces really helps the output of the destoners we find, especially if they've cut the maize high.

    Flail topper

Thanks Dave, we did have a look since it's 3 mile down the road today, but really looking for something a little wider as we'll be topping large fields rather then verges!

    Flail topper

Looking for a flail topper with hammer styled flails preferably. Front mounted, although would consider a side hydraulic rear one or even better a batwing flail. Cheers.

    Wheel trolley

I would recommend one of these, slightly more expensive but alot better built then your typical sealey/spalding one. Brought one from at Lamma few years ago. https://www.achydraulic.com/products/wheel-trolleys/wt1500nt-6102000/ The ability to turn the wheel via the cranking handle makes it a...

Large Industrial Roller Shutter Doors Available

I purchased these large industrial doors with the intention of fitting them to existing sheds, but the can't see me having the time to fit them. Wondering if they would be of any interest on here. 4 Large Roller Shutter Doors 2 x Approximately 7m wide and 4.5m high (identical) 1 x Approximately...

    Grammer seat air leak.

I took the base out the tractor. But in hindsight I could have left it in the tractor. Made it easier though. Was a fendt tractor.

    Grammer seat air leak.

Take the seat off and check. I had the same issue and it turned out it was a hose which chaffed. Cut the hose and connected it back together with a push fit air fitting. Worked a treat.

Using static stainless milk tanks as fert/water tanks for spray bowsers.

Want to avoid mild because of corrosion due to fertiliser. Plastic prone to cracking and going brittle. These milk tanks don't seem to weigh alot according to specs online. So shouldn't cost too much. Seen a few sold for not alot above scrap price.

Using static stainless milk tanks as fert/water tanks for spray bowsers.

Seen plenty of large (10k+ litres) milk insulated stainless static tanks. Look the perfect shape and size for a tank for a spray/water bowser. Never seen one in person though. Are they strong enough for transportation purposes? Or do they lack the wall thickness/ baffling and strengthening...

Anyone after Fendt cab tilting gear?

I have a large selection of the brackets, supports, fixings etc neccesary to tilt the older style Fendt cab up. Should be suitable for 415, 714, 716, 718, 818, 820 (COM 1, 2 & 3) etc. Had a bit of interest in people wanting them, so looking at getting some identical replicas made. Should be...

Best place to get a turbo reconditioned?

Interesting. Since rebuilding (same company) and installation, mine was leaking oil, worse then before I sent it away. Being rushed for time, I never had time to investigate and just put it down to the engine being very tired, assuming the turbo was like new again. Maybe universal turbo actually...
