depending on the tank, can you not throw a pipe over the side of the tank for the pump, our contractor has a 90 degree bend for doing it so he can run as a one man operation.
depending on the ground id say strip top soil off down to good subsoil then a layer of terram and filled up with 300mm plus of decent sized stone/ hardcore tracked in with a 13t plus machine on steels and a layer of fines on top to blend it all in. If done in the dry will last for years if you...
Yep, normally drilled up and machines put away for the winter by now and just got 2 fields drilled today but not brilliant conditions. Just seems to dry enough to get drilling and we get another chunk of rain.

Big open bayed shed and just keep shoving it in. Have to bucket grain into hopper to load the dryer. Quiet a labour intensive operation but only way to work it with the building layout we have. Dryer unloads into the shed next door. Running an 25t mecmar and doing 2000-3000t of grain a year.
where I work we do have a shed that can hold 800t of wet grain by the dryer and just keep running the dryer 24/7. Our record in 2021 harvest when we were buying alot of grain in was 164hrs clocked on grain drying tractor in a week although are looking to make an engine unit for the dryer for...
