    Close call accident thread?

In my mis spent youth about 50 years ago I bought an electricity pylon in a field, any way, it was necessary to use a gas torch to cut a bit. I had boiler suit on that wasn't done uo well. Galvanised is notoriously spotty, and a large lump of molten metal went down my front burning its way...

    £40,000 for new Defender!?

We all know that, there are a few horse boxes and caravans tow with 5th wheel coupling, but to drive with a trailer license it has to be towed from the back. our braking systems are not sensible either, electric brakes such as are in use in Australia are not legal either. for trailers over 3.5...

Dad - the car is making a funny noise

We bought a Merc B class, no spare, but a large tyre sized recess under boot mat. Good, we'll order a space saver wheel, 16" instead of 17, but it'll get us home. Wheel comes, half hour unbolting bracket for aerosol inflator and compressor. Bloody tyre is 1" too big for recess, best German design ?

The one under the bonnet is brake and clutch combined, if you take the cap off you'll see a small reservoir inside the larger one, this is for the clutch, as previously said outside one is for screenwash
