Thank you very much,they are two years old heifers home breed Simmentals Natural poll. As for the weather ,today was sunny one moment and heavy showers the next got soaking when I was wandering around trying to find one of their calves hiding in the hedge!

It looks nice and sunny and dry but the day before when everyone had the snow ,we had 2” of rain and spent the day cleaning out flooded sheds!!!

We used to winter out 200 dry sucklers fed on hard standing hay silage mix.they ate a lot more feed enough extra bales to bed them! Now nearly all housed not a lot extra labor by the time you chase around feeding the out wintered all over the place!

Trying to be on silage but had to calve this with 3 feet and 2 heads presented . bit different one sim and one blue

Only the auto IRS fa6 has low box that's why we had it .its handy for picking up calves in the field and the cow can then follow slowly,also on the rough moors it makes it safe and controllable

The annoying thing about the bike is in low box it will change down by itself wether it is in auto or not,so on the moors you drop revs on a rough patch down a hill and it jolts you down shifting unexpectedly!

I’ve got a 18 month old one done 800 hours not been much trouble,it’s usually on a trailer moving calves or feed for creeps.but to honest I was looking elsewhere for a new one to replace an late 500 Honda auto,the price to change is now quite shocking!
