Well pottinger don’t have the strength in the right place so, the beds don’t last as long as other brands .

Ripped off by HRN Tractors / Agritrac Exports Ltd (Stuart Barclay) - Aberdeenshire

I’m in Ireland and I booked flights to go to Girona in Spain to look at a machine today , there’s no excuse in not travelling to see it, that’s called laziness around here . And when I hear keys for the door been a major issue I gave up.

    Valtra T175 v John deere 6r 185

A contractor near me has changed 5 R series jds for 5 valtras , he claims that the Valtra are a far better tractor to pull and work hard , and far easier on fuel. I have both , a 234 active and a 254 versu , we find the active smoother at changing gears , the lads working here prefer the active for road work. Both great tractors and both have been very reliable .

High houred Fendt 718 or medium houred 6150R

Well I’m only telling the reality of the situation , when a man with 4 deutz says that the worst one he has is the new one and the best deutz he has are the 07 and 08 models and he goes and buys a 10 yr old because he won’t buy another new model , what would you take from that. I know of 3 more...

    Prices coming down?

The new Jd harvestors are getting a poor name around here in the last 2 years , I know a class man who switched to Jd , but after one season he has gone back to class , he says the class is far better and far easier on diesel, there was another issue of the blades coming loose causing major blow...

Tractor Importation to Republic of Ireland

Yes you have to pay the vat in the uk, but if you find the right tractor you can still save a lot of money, I recently seen a very expensive 4 yr old tractor in an Irish dealers for €100 k plus vat , the same model with the same hours in the uk is from £50_60 k , so don’t rule it out.
