Hello. Great result and good news for my lil spreader. Fearing the worst,I undid the lid on the gearbox.no oil or lube... No broken shaft though... what appears to have happened,is the circlip holding bearing in place has become detached & caused the bearing & bevel gear to move upwards away...

Gorse is great in hedges,where it belongs. I often say to my contractor, who trims my hedges 'will you please take that fertilizer attachment off that trimmer',as it grows back like crazy!! Soo,I've been thinking, if my lime spreader man,throws a good dollop round the hedge,as he is spreading...

I thought all 03 models were same,just bigger hopper extensions etc... Here are some more pics,in case folk have one somewhere... Can't beat a strap to break,in slow motion,to ruin ya day....proper job...🙃🙃🙃

Hi. Are these fert spreaders same as a kuhn.? Are spares still available? Gearbox gone wonky... Spreading merrily, no problem, then spreader stops Spreading. Pto still going. I suspect maybe a bevelled gear perhaps-expensive? Or maybe a pin has dropped out inside. Discs still move,but no...
