Problem: Gen6 724
'The neutral selector of the speed range is faulty'
'The selected travel speed range is not recognised'
'The range switch is in the neutral position or the neutral position is engaged'
Was onto the tech and he directed me to the red lever to select 1-N-2 which held it in 2nd...
Cheers guys, I'll drop them a call or email, have a weighbridge nearby at meal supplier, I'll back off the bridge and measure the 3 weights and could do it over the phone even
1st cut of silage in but ground was softish in places...nevermind the steep bits!
Fendt 724 on new Trelleborg TM1060 710/60/42 and 600/60/30 and were cutting up the sods on delivery pressure...25psi! Dropped the rears to 16psi rear and 20psi front (870kg front weight)
Forecast isn't looking too...
As mentioned before, Fendt 516 is the most comfortable I've driven (not driven a Fastrac) and have driven most other makes!
Suspension hinge point makes it really good at absorbing bumpy ploughed fields and transferred traction really well with front weight on up steep hills. Very comfortable...
I took a run to Halfords lastnight and couldn't fault their tools but just wasn't impressed with the moulding holding them in place...I had a vision of opening it one day and stuff everywhere!
Got hold of the Bahco S250 for £46+vat so I'm happy with that...much better moulding and great quality...
Got asked to diagnose a knocking engine last week and ended up changing a water pump with a 1/4" set which was achievable...but looking a 1/2" set to carry round for the limited time I'm hands on, but like something neatly packaged etc.
Previously used a Teng ratchet which was lovely in the...
Anyone recommend somewhere in the UK that might also have a bottom radiator hose? Was a faff to get out and not in great condition so may as well replace it
Many thanks guys!! I'm going to go with a Ford 1910 3 cylinder Shibaura engine...with a seized water pump 🤦♂️
Couldn't have done that without your help...I'll maybe order a sticker set too 🤣
Unfortunately these have leaked from day 1, had a replacement set fitted at 100hrs and now at 500hrs will need another, means you've to carry paper-roll to stop the joystick, steering wheel and boilersuit from being ruined. Will try the flat face and see how they go, can resort back to a...
After 500hrs this things leaking like the Titanic from the screw-on 3rd service couplers. If flat face are fitted how does Merlo 'float' the coupler's to fit under pressure?
I know the old Manitou you switched the ignition on and toggled the switch but doesn't seem to do anything on the...
As title, will only engage crab and front-wheel steer (mechanically and lights dash)
I assume there's a 4ws light on the dash? Pulled out the switch and all contacts good...guessing switch is only available from JCB to make a start with?
@ColinV6 how does it compare with spread width to the splash-plate and how does it affect forward speed? AutoCommand so you have 4 small spool-switches...find that a benefit for operating the macerator and opening?
Cheers
