    Liquid back to granular fertiliser?

I have done this, though still do some liquid. Tbh I massively miss the ability to go in the wind and rain, particularly this yr. Also I'd be lying if I said I had no stripes. Urea has been miles cheaper tho. Can't really argue with that. You can get free fibreglass tanks off one of the...

£25k to start a livestock enterprise...

So... My friend went to look at cows today. Apparently this traditionally involves taking a cattle float. Anyway the long and short of it is that he's currently looking out of his kitchen window at A group of black and brown things. I'm wishing him luck!

Disastrous winter crops - cultivate out how?

First loss is the best loss and all that. That said, I'm currently drilling organic spring oats into a sub-optimal seedbed that will undoubtedly be both late to harvest and cr@p to boot!

£25k to start a livestock enterprise...

The thing is my friends wife wants to buy the cows herself... I doubt my friend will be able to persuade his wife to take this option. I suppose he could suggest it, which might have the same end result!

    Farming stigma…. Working like “crazy”

Very few of my friends are farmers. They do everything from soldiers, bankers, stock brokers, commercial property, lawyers etc. I reckon they almost all work harder than I do (though i dont tell them this), and they all think farming is a fairly terrible job, albeit with fun toys!
