    Torro 5700 rotor

So I bought a 2005 torro 5700, it had a new knife bank fitted but on third cut the rotor has sheared in two. Gearbox seems fine as do the end shafts, does anybody break wagons and have good used rotors? I'm in NI so rotospiral is an option for repairing/refurbing...waiting to hear a rough cost...

Top fill tanker adapted to umbilical pump?

What kinda flow rate gallons/hr would you get with a Garda pump and say 600m pipe through a 7.5m dribble bar? Iv a 3000gallon tanker so would need Garda pump on a 3500 gallon tanker or get a Garda pump off something and mount onto a sealed skip or container. That would let me build up a...

Top fill tanker adapted to umbilical pump?

Does anyone know if a top fill slurry tanker could be used as a nurse tank and the splash plate be changed to fit umbilical pipe to, to pump to a field? Thinking of a system that would be used in early season/wet weather/cereals that would be low cost. Not needing to pump big distances or up...

    Vetches regrowth ability

Hi, Just wondering if I sowed vetches early autumn (aug/sept) and mowed and baled/clamped (April). If I direct drilled pea and barley mix would the mowed off vetches regrow? Same question for autumn sown triticale. Mowed (after stem extension but before flag leaf) and baled/clamped, pea mix...

    Best Cubicle House Setup?

yeah meant to say will be four row of cubicles with feed passage on one side and along the gables to provide enough space for all cows to feed at once. open fronted single cubicle will run along feed passage to close it off and then non return gates. To tank the whole shed would give me over two...
