A question for Ollybloggs Oliver Harrison

...and also apparently on the steering group for the No Farmers No Food group.....but apparently we In Britian don't have anything to complain about - which I thought was downright insulting to those who have been and are now struggling...and not to mention the strain on their mental health...

    Matbro TR250 P/S+

Anyone have the part no. (or supplier) for the U.J.s on the engine > hyd pump drive-shaft? Where to go for the Carraro 048248 trans filter? Is it ATF for the transmission and should the level be checked while running or after it has stood? thanks

    Matbro TR250 P/S+ engine

Which model of Perkins engine is it in this machine? Are there any timing marks on this engine to set up before I remove the DPS pump? (I see the lock tab on the pump body) Where do I go for a dipstick tube? Is it specific to the Matbro?

    MF 6499 dyna6

I took it for a test drive after a full service and noticed it.....wondered if the transmission had to "learn" new shift patterns or something else.....but I am no Massey man

What would cause it to hesitate between gearshifts? Is it a calibration issue (pack fill timings) or a gas accumulator diaphragm ruptured? Tractor has 6000hrs on the clock

    CaseMX270 Transmission Fault 56070 and 56071

I just saw your message.....56070 is Clutch engagement value not found in calibration - in other words the master clutch fill got to 60% and no speed drop was detected......and 56071 is no voltage on bottom of clutch group (low/med/high/M-C) when voltage is expected ...I will have a root around...

What do you...

    T8 front axle problem

it is the same as a Case Magnum of that era MX285 etc so fault codes should be the same and a Case dealer should be able to sort it

    T8 front axle problem

Do you have any error codes present? Part of the Front Suspension setup is in the "Trans Setup Menu" and it is only visible with an EST plugged in

    Case 4200 vs 5100 series

yes, except that the 5130 has a Lucas rotary pump not a Bosch VE as listed on ebay.....the point I was trying to make is that the manufacturer is no longer supporting the product.

    Head torches

What recommendations do you have for durable head torches? I have been using the LED Lenser that takes the 3 little AAA batteries but find that if rain gets in the adjuster lever then they are toast. Any suggestions for something durable working on machinery and also for lambing time?
