Just playing devils advocate if your a farmer and wanting to slow down a bit , why not just get the contractor to do operations as you need them doing instead of a cfa
When it's lifted out at the ends its higher than when you pull in so that bit of headland becomes wavey Simons idea to do headland first would probably help that I'm using sweep times that have no problem going in
Have got one of these 7 legs then some discs then cage roller it's a great tool very quick and does as they say make the soil boil . One draw back however is that at the ends it leaves it uneven ( wavey )any body else find this there are lots of similar machines out there ?
An observation from last year when the bales are a bit sweaty the heat escapes up between cracks obviously better not to stack in that case but needs must sometimes
I was thinking along the lines of drainage pipe with the ends blocked off arranged in a herringbone pattern following cracks in big bales and then forcing air through ?
