Anyone that's started down the road of using some land for BNG unit creation?
The initial selling price of the units looks attractive but I'm trying to get some idea on what the ongoing costs and management restrictions are?

I’ve got 2 persistent offenders of cows that like to take mouthfuls of silage and throw it over themselves and into the scrape passage, blocking up the slats and stopping the auto scrapers in the process
Ruled out flies as they do it no matter what time of year
Any solutions other than sending...
Went with the volume washer idea in the end, took the inspection hatch off at the bottom, blasted away for a bit then stood back when a lump or two dropped down. When it all went I wouldn’t have wanted to be under it, it came down fast.

Anyone running/run one...

Some classic silage from first cut, a Claas Jaguar 680 that gets hauled out to do a few acres each year, managed about 20 before the fuel pump gave up though.
