    Landini Vision 4wd issues

    I think the 4wd solenoid works the other way round to what you think. When you give it power it disengages the 4wd. So I’m guessing you have no power going to the solenoid therefore constant 4wd. This was the case I had on a maxxum years ago.

    Had this exact same issue. I sent off seed invoices showing I had an arable break crop in between my grass and gs4 reseed. They seemed happy with this. I think proof that it had been reseeded with grass invoices in the last 5 years would be ok.

    There is a little tube (maybe copper pipe) that pokes up after the fan to detect the fan is working. The tube maybe blocked or facing the wrong way?

    Shortening chain on Lucas straw blower

    I’ve a raptor. It’s the slats that hold the chain together. Undo a slat and you’ll see a c bolt holding the chain together. Cut a couple links out then rejoin with the c bolt and slat. That’s how I’ve done it in the past.

    Sorry more of a cattle man so always get the mill out. Urea is £10 for bag here (mvf) so a fair saving. It’s the urea that makes it alkaline I think so not sure what extra you get from using h&d.

    Can you not just mix feed grade urea as you mill it? surely be a lot cheaper, then just add some soya when you feed it if you want.
