I'm on the look out for a genuine Massey Ferguson 6290 at moment.
It must have closed centre hydraulics, at least 3 spools and front suspension.
Hours not a major issue so long as it's tidy and not over priced.
Has anyone got anything suitable?
Thanks in advance
Just got a new to us Pottinger silage wagon on 560/45r22.5 Nokian Country Kings
Wanting to change to a wider wheel due to soft ground
What would my wheels be worth?
8 stud fitment and would guess at 80% tread remaining

Currently restoring a 2004 Massey Ferguson 6290.
Have the option of genuine decal kit or the reproduction kits from Lotus Designs in Northern Ireland.
Which would you go for?

Any pros and cons to a concrete mixing bucket for a telehandler? Have plenty of oil flow so that wouldn't be an issue.
Do they end up throwing concrete all over the machine?
Any brands that are better than others?

Have a shed 25 ft x 12ft x 11ft that I currently use for spray painting in.
I currently use an airfed paint mask but don't have any means of extraction meaning overspray lingers in the air and eventually settles.
Thinking of putting a 450mm (open to options) fan in and using a filter media...
Just reading the tractor cleaning thread and it got me thinking.
I currently have the hot wash in its own dedicated shed but would like to set up a wash bay somewhere else. Not seriously far away but maybe 150ft away.
Can I pipe the pressure washer to this area without loosing pressure? I...
Anyone know where to buy a 6 position rotary switch to suit the fine adjustment setting on an Oxford s-mig 410-1 welder?
My setting 5 has stopped working on all 4 of the course settings.
Priced TWS and thought it was a little expensive for what is potentially a generic part?

Have a guy has asked me to cut about 15mm out of the centre of his wheel rims to allow a different hub through.
I've heard the dangers of welding on a rim. What about plasma cutting?
I would do it in small amounts and cool after each time or is it a complete no no?
Not sure if the welding...
Have a wagon roof shed that is being repurposed to store machinery.
The downside is that the sheets on the roof are spaced by around 10mm, each of the sheets the last corrugation points up on each side.
Anybody done something to solve this before?
Thanks in advance
After a bit of help understanding what type of solenoid operated hydraulic valve.
I need 6 solenoid operated slices with 3 of these the function is single acting.
What way does a single acting solenoid valve work?
Thinking it must be different to a double acting otherwise you would be...
Wanting to buy an air fed paint mask for my own use when painting bits and pieces that I've made.
What have others got?
I've currently got a 3M P6000 series mask. I also have a 3M air care unit that was being changed in a renovation in my old workplace.
Is the 3M s-200 add on my best route...
Anyone any experience using ceramic coatings?
I have a machine here that isnt very old but the gloss has gone off the paint. Machine polished it last year with a mild cutting compound and it helped a great deal but back to the same again this year.
Each time I wash it the suds go slightly...
Just wondering if anyone has a pair of rims to suit 750/65r26 or 28.1 26 tyres?
Centres aren't critical but bolt in centres would be ideal.
Can get away with 10 stud commercial fitment too with adding an adapter plate.
Neighbour uses their Massey 5713 to unload lorry loads of straw.
Where he brings the lorry in he has to unload all from 1 side.
His issue arises when he just can't quite reach the far side of the trailer. He has talking to me about having some something to give him that but more reach. I said...
I have what seems to be a colony of flies living in the shed I paint in.
Usually only ever had an issue with one every so often but now no matter what I paint guaranteed to have 5 or 6 land in it and they are the ones with the huge wings!
Have tried one of the UV light things in complete...

Has anyone on here got a mastek hydraulic lagoon mixer?
Family friend is after a method of mixing an above ground store over the side and I saw the attached link on done deal and thought it was a simple solution.

Friend has a milking parlour that has been in for over 20 years.
The galvanising has seen better days and he would like to paint it.
Any suggestions as to what's the best paint to use? He painted cubicles with hammerite last year with no success. I suppose the biggest issue will be killing the...
Anyone got any good advise for a motion sickness sufferer?
We are going to Euro Disney next week as a family and as much as I enjoy roller coasters I suffer from motion sickness which really takes the shine off it.
It's bad enough that I can't do go karting without getting unwell.

In short,
What is the legality behind making your own car trailer?
Unfortunately the reason for wanting to make my own is because its for a specialised job that can't be bought from one of the main manufacturers.
I see a document available on the .gov website with rules and regulations. If I...
