The old cable didnt seem to have much wrong with it but I changed it in case but as stated no better.

I’ll be honest it wasn’t a genuine cable as it was 1/3 of the price. It seemed to fit ok though.

Just wandering if anybody else has ever had this problem of this type of rake chucking off 4-5 tines off randomly the same time. it always does it on the same rotor. I’ve changed all the wire clips and still does it. Also put oil on the splines. Thanks and thank you for any help.

The KUHN GF502 is first class, never fails but I don’t think there is a finance scheme on them. I also think the Lely is discontinued and even heard of some problem with spare parts supply last summer.

Try any sparex dealer for any McConnell or Spearhead spin on type, Fleetguard ones for less than £20.

I’m not saying it just boils down to a 5 minute drive, the deal takes 10 times more convincing than that. If the manufactures don’t want to run a demo fleet and the dealers can’t justify running every model going I can see demos fading pretty fast.
