I've got a few lambs like that this year and I can't work it out. No injuries, no lumps, teeth are fine.
Some are a bit poor and some are doing well. We were thinking maybe a form of acidosis from the grass?
Just wondered if anybody has any advice on the best method of chopping bread for sheep and cattle. We have been offered a lot of waste bread but it is whole uncut loaves. Was thinking of a beet cutter or a wood chipper?
Houghton Parkhouse T35 trailer with hydraulic deck in as new condition. Fantastic trailer and only selling as we send our lambs on a Lorry now as we have too many. Please contact Scott on 07769656191 if interested.
Just wondered if anybody has any recommendations on the best way to raise mag levels in soil for grazing ground. We had soil analysis done and the ph is around 8 across the board. P and k are around 2s. We used fibrophos last autumn and plan to this Autumn as well to get to 3s but mag is around...
We have seen a lot of moss on our pastures this spring. Limed and fibrophosed recently and all levels came back good. Putting it down to the wet winter. I was told by our seed merchant when he came to have a look that 25kg per hectare of ferrous sulphate would kill it dead. Im going to give it s go.
