Is there anyone out there that will restore this? It's a diaphragm type I believe. Speedograph won't. Speedy cables will but want £400, The pressure reading on it goes straight to max so not that useful, with a calibrated test gauge the engine is 48psi, which is spot on. I'd rather not put a...
Bit of a long shot, does anyone have any cups laying about for a smallford setrite potato planter? Need quite a few with good threads on the bottom, the ones here have snapped threads and by the looks of it the bolt is bonded into the rubber when created so not easily replaced.
Does anyone have any good recommendation for a replacement front bonnet badge for a MF65? Dunlop's spares used to be able to supply a good quality one ready painted, but their supplier has now closed. Most of the ones on eBay seem poor quality.

Bit of an odd one, does anyone have a throttle rod/linkage rod clip like the one in the picture kicking around I could buy? needs to be for 1/4" rod and be left handed. It should have 7L stamped on it. I have one with 7R (a right one) but need a left one as well. It appears you can only get them...
As title. Bit of a long shot, does anyone have a right hand side (when sitting on the seat) steering arm on top of the kingpin for sale on a MF 65 MK2 ? Should have part number 186083M1 stamped on it.
Neither Ron Greet of Neilll's Vintage have one who break a lot of old MF's. Going to try...
I'm looking for a Lucas plough light for my MF65. Has anyone got anything hanging around in the workshop? Looks exactly like the pictures below. I'm not interested in the type with a handle. Even if it's got a broken glass and or reflector I would be interested as replacements can be got.
All,
I'v just approached Tyrrell restorations in Ireland with regards to having original pattern MF65 mudguards made with the correct drop for axle spaces (12 3/4"). these would be made with the correct forward drop, same width drop and with the kink in the drop to kick them across as per my...
As above, how exactly does labour envisage this working? in agriculture it would be a nightmare and in the machinery dealer sector that I work in also. Their initial plans seam to be to keep pay at the same rate but forbid people from opting out and only working a max of 48hrs per week. This...
I a month or so ago I took the CAV pump of my MF65 (Perkins 4.203) to paint behind it, now this is the pump where you have to undo the 3 set screws on the gear in the timing cover to remove. The pump will only go back on one way. However I have put it back on today and bled the system, but I...
One for @Cowabunga probably. What oil is a suitable replacement for the transmission on a MF65 with multipower? SAE40 is what the book says, however not handy to get and normally only in smaller quantities. Is there any 15w40 out there that won't damage the bronze in the transmission?
I have had to put new spindle bushes in my MF65. However they are the unfinished type, as thats all you can get as far as i'm aware for a 65. However, I seam to be having to ream a lot of material out to fit the spindle (the spindle measures 31.6mm).
I have an adjustable reamer with centre...
Can anyone tell me the distance below on their dynamo for a MF65 (possibly others) my machine had a C40 dynamo on it, but I also have a screw terminal C39 P2 dynamo in which this distance is smaller than the C40. I'm trying to ascertain what is the correct distance for a MF65.
Also were spade...
Has anyone here got a pair of the cast metal mudguard spacers that sit under the mudguards on a MF65?
Most would have been taken off when longer mudguards or rolls bars were fitted, they look similar to the pic below.
I just had an email through tonight, stating that the DfT has abandoned plans to increase the trailer weight i.e. "phase 2" of the new rules that were coming into affect.
I found this article on the NAAC website:

I have been offered a JD Starfire 3000 and 2630 screen as a part exchange. Can anyone tell me what they might be worth second hand? or indeed a new price for both would be a good starting point.
I'm sure in the past someone posted a guide to what length headers are allowed to be towed behind a machine. Perhaps it was an article in the FW. Does anyone have the link to it or have an official link from say VOSA etc..
