I’m after an actuator for the stop control on a fuel pump, needs to be 24v and have about 30mm of travel, not fussed if it pushes or pulls as I have plenty of space to mount it. Any recommendations on where to look?that sort of thing, but why 3 wires ?
Can I disconnect the drive to the front hydraulic pump and run the engine briefly or will bad things happen. I have acquired a strange vibration/drumming noise at low revs and I wanted to rule out the hydraulic circuit. Cheers
Got a first calver that will not take to her calf. Three weeks old now and it’s getting a bit of a bind getting her in the crush twice a day. At first she kicked out with aggression now it’s more leg lifting to knock the calf off with the odd swift kick. Calf is strong and doing great but won’t...

Elderly friend is organising a farm sale, he’s had the auctioneer round to give everything a once over and he’s been told he needs an electrical certificate for the farm generator. What and where can one of these be obtained and cost? It is a large generator from the 70’s driven by a 6 cylinder...
Just fired up the 2wd, L cabbed 695. It’s been stood for over a year outside. Checked all fluids and put a battery on and she fired straight up. Come to move it and the steering is heavy and lumpy and the arms won’t move and when moving the spools the engine doesn’t change note, when the...
I’ve got a conked tree that has grown out of its pot and through the slabs, about 15 years ok. It’s got to come out as an extension is going up next year. I’d like to try and save it if possible, what’s the best plan of attack I’ve got access to a 13ton digger but don’t want to go mad and...
Could someone explain the basics of this. I have 60 acre holding but split into several small parcels a few miles apart but all farmed under the same cph number for 20 odd years. I have now acquired a 4.5 acre field adjoining my house and I would like to erect a small shed to store fodder and...
I’ve been offered a 4acre field and I’m keen to purchase, I’m happy with the price I’ve been asked and I’m going to get things rolling on Monday, as it’s my first purchase I was just wondering what sort of time scale these things take to complete, there’s no borrowing to sort just the paying and...
First time out with the Baler today and half the control screen has gone blank. Was fine when put away last year, have checked all the connections and everything is good, everything works on Baler and can just get by with the half a screen. I assume it will need a new screen on complete...

Have a motor on my Teague 8080 swivel spout that’s started leaking, the shaft is badly chewed up so I think it’s time to replace rather than repair, the plate on the end says MP200 CO/4 05/06 but I can’t read the manufactures name, google brings up all sorts of different options but I’m not...
