I have had a 6565t and a 6570t with Eds. I found the user manual useless, the software on the screen is not at all user friendly to use and though I set EDS to soft and always engage break back it never breaks back and you have to manage the head pressure yourself by lifting the arm. Don’t know...
Looks good but I woukd like to see it in a wet field of heavy rushes where the wheels are trampling down the rushes and see what forward speed you can achieve to get a clean 100% cut.
But there is no rushes worth talking about in any of those pics but what strikes me is the poor quality finish of the few that are cut! That’s why I think they are a complete waste of money! Please don’t take it personally!
KV here the past 20 years, change my trailed 3223 every 3 years, never had an issue or repair bill. Faultless machines if greased and serviced, cleaned and stored inside. Fence posts, stones, rebar, Harrow pigtail tines have gone through but never a problem. I could not imagine changing to...
Would not buy one again. The moment you trample what u intend to cut you have lost the battle! You have to turn around and cut the lot the opposite way to leave a half decent finish! Also the skid on the cut side as opposed to the one in the grass will drag lumps of material so you have piles...
Put a 10.8 and if that fails 12.8 bolt. As an aside My 3m cyclone topper started breaking 12.8 bolts last year at end of season. It was a PIA. Was on a 2121 JD 6145 and did the same on a 2021 6155. Had fitter check out gearboxes, shafts and shear bolts and could not fathom it. Topper put away...
I remember when finger bar mowers used a driving rod to move the blade back and forth and there were sections on the knife tgat could come loose so rivets needed to be hammered regularly to stop this.
Well good question cos I always had the Ultimate edition on all of them but the last two that arrived a few weeks back don’t have the sticker! I’m depressed, despondent and definitely thinking of green and red wheels😁😁
I’m familiar with balers and the like so as they get older it’s chains, bearings, sprockets, rollers and sensors that may need replacing. But what are the items that pack in on a combine?
I know nothing about combines but if you want a decent machine that is not rotten or an antique what is the max age you would be looking at? I’m assuming NH or Class would be the brands.
Well it’s gold plated and 22 carat I believe but someone from MF will be along later to verify this! They are kinda like JD GPS kit….very sought after!😃
