Extensification payment was a payment paid to keep stocking levels down below a certain livestock unit , I think it was one unit per acre. You could also get it by not claiming on all 'cards' ie ,with steers just claim on the green and sell on the blue or if you were getting suckler cow premium...

The garden was a 'perfect ' garden ...till the pig arrived. They knew who put it there but couldn't prove it .
About 4 yrs later a friend of mine in 'animal welfare ' dept in Hfd referred to the occasion with a wry smile on his face.....took 4 of them to capture it !
