Would people be recommending a bike fit? Presuming like most things the more you pay the better the fit? Looks a range of prices from £80-£180 locally.

What do you all use to keep feet warm/dry whilst riding in winter? Long ride today but feet were uncomfortable within half an hour. Thanks

It seems the ‘smart’ turbo I brought will only work as a smart trainer if you buy a additional sensor... Hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks

Brought a Qubo fluid smart trainer recently but can’t get it to link to zwift. No cables to plug it in and if I start peddling it doesn’t ‘wake up’ sensors as far as I can tell. Also won’t link to the e-training app it comes with. What am I missing?...

Got the Shimano SPD SL road pedals when I started road cycling in spring. Get on really well with them. After a few initial tumbles at traffic lights that is!!

Really helpful replies as per 👍🏻 Thought I’d buy a smart turbo rather than a manual one as think it’ll end up putting a fair few hours in on it over the winter. Presume you use your existing bike and then put the front wheel in a stand? Zwift will be a must. Really enjoy that sort of thing

Anyone using a smart turbo trainer? Nights drawing in now so thinking of getting set up to cycle indoors. What would I need to get started? Thanks

    Homemade lifting Jib

Has anyone made a lifting jib to go on a telehandler? Any pictures would be great! Ideally not on pallet forks

    Concrete pipes

Not quite half price. But have always brought seconds. Some won’t have the rubber seal in which makes no odds. Others a few chips off or a hairline crack here and there. Nothing I’d be worried about

    Concrete pipes

Get ours from fp McCann. That sort of size is more expensive than twinwall and slower to install but a much stronger job. Normally have quite a few seconds in.

    Terram

Thanks for all the replies. That looks very cheap @Lincs Lass What’s the benefit of woven over unwoven?

    Terram

What sort of price should we be paying for 4.5m x 100m rolls of terram/geotextile? Any suggestions of suppliers? Thanks

If anything I’ve got too much float once clipped in. Allowing the knee/toes to twist onwards towards the other foot. I would hope I’m a few years off putting it down to just being knackered! Certainly the pain is worse when going up hill and peddling hard

This is how I initially set them up. Will give it another watch now I know the basics of them and it isn’t all new ??

Rested for a fortnight and was just creeping in at the end of a 70k ride Sunday. Tweaked a bit more but hard to tell if it helped as legs were tired by that point!
