A neighbour of mine has rolled their T 7040 and as such needs some parts such as a door roof and mudguard. Where’s the best place to look for this before you go to the agent?
Today we were trying to set our Claas Arion 630 to interrow cuktivate some beans however whilst it starts straight the front and rear wheels seem to follow different paths and the tractor starts to crab. We’ve check the tie rods and front suspension but nothing is jumping out at us. Does anyone...
Has anyone had any experience of these or a similar machine. I’m quite interested in one to cut standing crops but am a bit worried about them cutting too deep and blocking up with soil.
I am looking at buying a TC 5-80 combine. We’ve looked at a smaller cheaper Indian built TC5-30 but looked at the Belgium built machine and thought it’s more like what we need with a straw chopper etc. Does anyone have any experience of these machines.

There’s another thread about freedom of speech in Finland but this is a bit closer to home. Is it just a sick joke or maybe a bit more. I laughed at it and so did the wife and...
The time has come to retire our old Kidd Spreaders and replace them with a modern (new) machine.
We do 5000 tonnes or more per year but 12 months of the year so it should n't be a hard life. Obviously everyone will say Bunning but is there something cheaper but good out there.
Paying some bills today one caught my eye a rocker switch for the high/low on a Househam sprayer was £29 fair enough. The hare decal for it £ 14 for that money I probably could have hired a proper artist to paint me a stylish rabbit.
This morning whilst backing out the shed my NH 6080 had lost all drive and hydraulics. The dash says low hydraulic charge pressure. Is it as simple as hydraulic pump failure or is there something else to look at. It’s a 2016 model with 9000 hours and has been pretty faultless previously
I have an old ford based manitou forklift i use around the yard and it needs a steering pump does anyone know where i might find one without going through a main dealer.

I am having trouble selling tractors in Kenya so I am thinking of re-importing them into the UK and either selling them privately or trading them in. Freight in 40 foot containers isn't ridiculously expensive so if there aren't too many duties and taxes it might make sense. So does anyone have...
We are having a demo of a Trimble/RTK guidance system of our main tractor. My Son and I are very impressed however my Wife says it’s very expensive and our tractor driver can drive straight anyway. How do I justify it to her.
If you were to lease a Tractor for set period say three years or so what percentage of the retail value would you expect to pay. We have been approached to try leasing but it looks very unattractive compared with hire purchase or getting a loan etc.
I have a Ransomes TSR 103 very straight with good metal what would be a fair price for it. Faded paint and a bit of moss on it but would suit someone with a 70’s tractor
Between 2005 and 2010 a friend and I set up a farm management company to run two farms belonging to a Sudanese Businessman on the edge of Khartoum. We thought we could be the new Masstock but we could n't.
I am keen of the idea of a crawler in order to keep going when it is wet and reduce compaction. Main work will be Jones Triple bedformer and a 3 m discordon. I don’t want new nor too old it has to do no roadwork and we are busy 52 weeks of the year so it could clock up a few hours but not...
