Hi i have this powerharrow which says its 1000 speed but it has a 540 spline pto and when i rotate the input and do the maths i get a rota speed of around 315rpm. This surely has been modified for 540 yes?

Should i be worried? I dont know of its new. I only hear it outside and very rarely stand outside with pto running for obvious reasons. Oil is ok and only sounds bad like this when at low revs.

Hi, I have a 1990 3095 From what I know it only has a standard 540 pto(just on and off). I've seen you can buy a different pto shaft which changes it to 1000. Just simply point downhill pop the clip out. Swap and done... 1000pto? Can't be that easy?
