    Creeping thistle or Sow thistle.

I have some ground going into vegetables and also into sunflowers. The thistles are putting on good growth and everything else was taken out by a Feb Glyphosate application. I really want to do the thistles properly, roots and all, but not leave potentially crop-damaging chemical residue. What's...

    MF 135 Reg: PNV156F

My interest was piqued by the DVLA vehicle check site, which indicates that the above tractor is still on the road. My Grandfather traded it in to Coopers of Buckingham, in 1976. Anyone know where it is?

    Ford engine.

6600 proper cooked its engine on the drier, and has stood for some time since. In the old days it was easy, pick up the phone to Paul Chattel who would let you have a new cross block one in a Ford crate for about £2700. Anyone got a contact for anyone who does similar nowadays, please. I know...

    7.50 x 20 wheels and tyres.

Fitted Ford 6600 front wheel hubs when it was the sprayer tractor, bought new, did almost no work at all. Some surface cracks as befit age but hold air fine. Welded heavy plate centres. Will wash other one if anyone wants them. Make me a non-insulting offer to secure please.

    Stihl service centre.

Small automatic car for young driver

Anyone got experience of a small auto, any suggestions, either positive or negative please. Most of my experience is with VW Golfs, and I probably wouldn't buy an auto one of them.

    Honda quad question.

Someone has asked me if it is possible to disable the 4wd on a 350 BIG4X bike, 4wd being a pain most of the time, with transmission windup, fighting the steering, etc, if they never tow with the bike anyway. Doesn't want to permanently damage the bike, so it could be put back if necessary. Was...

    John Deere/ Brandt.

What's the story that has apparently not made it over here, about Brandt and JD doing something together?

    Concrete sleepers.

Anyone know where I might source some please, ideally not far from Banbury/Central Midlands.

    Oak sleepers

Does anyone have a contact for those really good quality recycled Dutch or German creosote treated oak sleepers please, the ones with a band or a plate on the ends to control splitting. Probably a couple of packs if there are some nice ones about Wynnstay used to have them at Banbury depot 3yrs...

    GPS speed input Hardi HC5500.

I'll ask in here because probably more onlookers who might know. Is it possible to feed a GPS speed signal into this sprayer controller. There are surplus connectors on the back of it, just want to know if Leica Mojomini or Trimble NAV900 can be connected. Thank-you.

    Hardi HC5500

Can anyone who has actually used one please advise the most likely cause for the speed sensor speed displayed (and therefore the application rate) to occasionally fall to way below the actual GPS ground speed. Second question, is it possible to feed a GPS signal into the HC5500 to get around the...

An anyone give me a link to the correct spec of rope for the post knocker, I don't expect Parmiter made it, it will bound to be a commodity rope. Thanks.

    Replacement tor Dickies Winter Reapers.

Has anyone discovered a decent replacement for the above. Jeans are rubbish in the colder weather. My days of being a fighter pilot or a combat medic are probably behind me now, so a multitude of bellows pockets and zips and velcro straps are probably unnecessary. Just looking for suggestion for...

    In cab bus bar.

Does anyone have, or know of an off the shelf, proper safe, insulated bus bar type in cab fixture, that can be connected via a cut off switch direct to the tractor battery supply. I know some newer tractors have in cab 12v power offtake points, for implement or GPS boxes, etc but mine don't, and...

    EDF Smart metering.

May not be correct place in here, but you may know... Daughter just been in and is having a bit of a time with her domestic supply. House is 2 up 2 down semi, cooking with electric and hot water, heating also, but only using one radiator at low level in lounge to keep damp at bay. When she is...

    Crop recording app?

I'm sure it's been asked before, but is there a simple, inexpensive app out there to put spray records on. Bit of a ballache having to plug in and fire up old desktop to do it, which is a disincentive to regularly updating records. Especially when phone or tablet is on table most mealtimes, and...
