Don’t know if you have tried taking the end off the return pipe and direct into the back end of the tractor but it would show if there’s any restriction. The Michale has to be a free flow return so the Connor could be the same
Don’t know about a fusion but our 5500 one can go up to 170 bar( still on green sector)
Probably a silly question but the pressure on your spool hasn’t been lowered/ not giving full pressure
probably best if you get your accumulator tested for pressure we had similar issues with our f5500 tested the accumulator and it was 30 bar instead of 50 bar the new one from mchale is now larger and 75 bar so it may have been an issue with them
Ours does that as well
If you look at the link while you flip the plough over watch the shackle is travelling to the top of the link if it doesn’t the depth wheel won’t be in the right place and will slip past
This will sound a bit “heath” but if you smear a little dollop of grease on the link...
We have an air pump tank like the op it was installed but wasn’t turned on at the fuse box for a few weeks and we to had a horrible smell from the tank I took off the lid and found the manifold that the air bubbles out of was floating just below the water surface and not at the bottom of the...
We had a 95x that did the same was a known fault when we traded it in the man that bought it later from the dealer cut out a hatch in the cab floor and fixed from the top don’t know if the jd version had a “factory “ hatch or not.
Back in the 70s and 80s there was quite a few lapwings curlews and oystercatchers we used to always mark the nests and avoid them. Then one year they never came back it was around the same time as I first saw a badger since that time we are now overrun with buzzards and other birds of prey...
Any update? I take it when it stops it won’t be cutting and holding the wrap properly either if so it sounds like the magnets have moved that’s how I know when ours have moved
Is the wrapper starting in the correct place not certain but I think it’s something to do with the magnets under the table not lining up properly with the sensor I think that’s what happened with ours either that or a magnet broke
We bought a p500 from protech last year haven’t really done a great deal with it yet but it’s a very impressive machine can’t comment on what they are like against other makes but thought the man I dealt with was spot on I think it was Andy always returned calls and very helpful
Believe me I have had lots of episodes of machinery breaking down had a new Holland 841 with floor chains baling silage back about 25 years ago if it wasn’t breaking floor chains it was breaking the wire ropes for the tension springs wouldn’t want to go back to that just because I could fix it...
Don’t know about now but Mchale were doing 0%finance when we bought ours we thought it was better paying a few thousand more for new than a machine that you don’t know. You shouldn’t have anything going wrong for a good few years with that amount of bales a year. after 10 years it’s only done...
Don't know about the newer class but 46 had to manually reset the knife and the steps were at the wrong side of the baler could be a long day if it was playing up
Don't know if it's the same mechanism as the 46 rotochop but when we had problems when we had ours it usually was the blade for cutting the net was dull/ rusty 5mins to remove and shine up the flat side with a sander when it doesn't cut clean it leaves straggles of net hanging down into the...
It came on with the ignition so within a few seconds it was ready I'm not sure but i think they pump all the time the same pump lasted for years and years certainly no problem after it was fitted
