There is a 8 digit number on the fullwood tags we enter to match the cows. There is probably a way to assign a tag to a cow with out that tag number, any ideas would be great!

Is it possible to get fullwood to pick up normal eid tags? Bought some cows from Ireland and the parlour was picking up the tag, had to cut them out in the end!

Running a fullwood/crystal parlour with auto id using tags. Bought a few cows with eid tags from Ireland and the parlour picks up their eid tag as well as the crystal tag. Can i stop it picking up eid signal or will I half to cut the eid tag off Thanks

wholecrop rate here would be 50-60kg acre depends how late we get it in, fert around 90kgN/ha + 14kg 3 year silage grass seed. Last year yielded 10t/ac, hopping for 8t this year will be cutting next couple of days. Normally get 2 cuts of silage afterwards.

Thanks for that! But there still seems to be an issue with the grain size being invalid, B has to be between 3.15 and 4 other wise it wont accept it, a few ferts I use don't match that. Or am i missing something?

Having the same issue, no option for uk, some of the app in french. Was spreading some pulan last week and it wouldn't give me any setting in the closest mach due to grain size being invalid! Any one els getting issues with the app?

Any one know the height a 8 wheeler would need to tip feed in a mono pitch shed? Would it need to be tipped all the way... would you get away with 6m?

Ideally yes, but rushing to put a 8m side sheet up on a windy day when the forager is coming up the lane isn't much fun!!

Got a sulky 30+ with weigh scales and gps auto half shut off. Having problems with it end of last year with error saying IO module offline on the monitor, the problem keeps coming and going! Just did 30 acres this morning and went to refill, problem back again. Cant even empty it! Any ideas?

How did you do it? Collars on heifers? Fix feeding? Would half to be quite narrow for a 4 month old! Wouldn't be to different to a auto calf milk feeder tho would it, same concept, one station to 40 heifers?

The main saving for me would be buying in bulk rather than bags (£50/T), And less moving bags and pallets around! We feed ad lib 0-3months 4-8months around 3-4kg a day Then they go out to grass. Dont think tmr for 4 months old calfsis something i want to do, and the buildings arnt suitable ether

Any one feeding concentrate to youngstock with some kind of automatic feeder? Would a out of parlour feeder system work? Currently using 25kg bags, and been puzzling how we could get it in a bin with out having to bag it up to then feed it out. Currently feed in troughs in straw pens, 3/4kg day...

Depends on cow breed, how clean ect. but you would be doing well! Rotary only way to get 200/250 cows through an hour with 2 men tho, bet a simple 44point wouldn't be much more than a 40:80 sequential bailing with a few extras actually ??‍♂️

How is rain water in slurry store linked with pollution? If you have enough storage for 6 months of the year I cant see how it creates more pollution risk. Yes there is more volume of slurry to spread but it would be the same diluted amount of slurry? Would money not be better spent encouraging...
