Gone with the attitude that a stripey green field is better than an all over orange one. So been on all the time in the wind. Just got done and the wind has dropped!! 🙄
I’ve found this. The companies get bigger and bigger and couldn’t give two hoots about the farm, farmer or even the pigs to a certain degree. They always want more and more out of the farmer too
Am I right in thinking that all cross compliance rules ended on the 1st January this year? And if that were to be true, does that mean that we can do away with the 2 meter margins along hedge rows and the likes now without fear of being fined? Many thanks.
I wrote to our council asking if the concreting of our yard requires planning permission. They replied eventually saying that no it didn’t. This was all that was required. But it WAS required when claiming the grant money, so don’t not do it, thinking they won’t ask for it, they will!!!
