Hi, I've got my Brother in Laws Kubota to look at, it's got a loader on it and the loader is very slow to lift, he took the loader off when he got it so don't know if it's always been a problem.
Power steering and rear linkage all work fine so I think I the hydraulic pump is ok. Oil level is...
We've had a move around of our feed systems and I've replaced a whole length of centerless auger. I ordered extra length as I wasn't sure on the final location of the feed bin. My question is, at what length should the actual auger be? Should it be stretched out a bit so as that its under...
Has anyone or is it possible and worth it to upgrade the seat in a Claas Axos. I'm really starting to struggle with my back after driving it particularly when on the road or rough ground. I'm 6ft and 11 stone wet through so with the seat set at a comfortable height for me it seems too firm and I...
Hello, could someone recommend a suitable WiFi bridge to get WiFi to a shed about 40 m away from the house. It's to run a camera for lambing.
Many thanks Tom
Hello,
Does anyone have any recommendations for the above? It's to split a grain store in half. We're near York. Anything to look out for when ordering them?
Many thanks
Tom
Hi,
A lorry driver has had an incident with 1 of our bulk bins this morning, nothing to serious just bust the vent pipe off. Does anyone know some one York area based who can fix it? Will be a cherry picker job as it's a high discharge bin.
Many thanks
Hi, does anyone know where I could get a replacement declutch button for a Claas Axos. Ours has stopped working and Claas don't do the buttons individually. It's a £140 for the top of the gearstick assembly!
Many thanks Tom
Hi,
How much would a second hand loader and brackets cost for a NH ts115? Also how easy would a loader and brackets be to find?
Only use a loader tractor for loading straw at harvest so don't justify new!
We might have chance of a low houred K60 but would it be a good buy? GM Stephenson sold one last year with similar hours for I think about £20k so I can see that will be the asking price.
Or are we better off with a higher houred JCB?
Would need to be 2.5t lift and 6m reach.
Can anyone recommend a firm who collects farm waste in the York area? Could do with a skip or something provided to put it in. Mainly feed bags, net wrap etc.
Any idea on cost?
Many thanks
Tom
I've got myself a drone to film things going on the farm. My question is, how do you deal with the videos you've filmed?
I've been playing with it today which is 11min long (mostly rubbish). What are people using to edit videos? And how to store them? I uploaded my video to Google drive which...
As above I'm looking for someone to go over our baler before summer. Can anyone recommend someone around the York area or am I best given the nearest dealer a call.
Thanks
Tom
As above really, we have a lot of 25mm t's that we have to take apart and reconnect a few times a year. Quite a few are now leaking quite a bit, does anyone know what size o ring I would need to replace the original ones.
Thanks
Tom
Can anyone recommend me a tool to put eyelets in tarpaulin, we need to put some new ones in our pig tents. Google brings up some light duty looking tools and the ones on Amazon get poor reviews.
Cheers
Tom
Hi,
Has anyone got or have experience of a wet underfloor heating system on the first floor?
We're hoping to convert the loft of our bungalow and have spare outlets on the manifold of our current underfloor heating system so I'm thinking it may be worth running up to the next floor. Just not...
We've got some volunteer potatoe plants coming through in our grass, how poisonous are they to sheep? Do they need to consume a lot of them before it can be harmful?
The grass has only just started to grow again nicely and don't want to check it by spraying it.
Thanks
Tom
