You just go into the bum channel not a long way up but I presume they would be unable to catch anything off something out of your own (sheep’s!!) body.
A bit like if you get a private part piercing 🤦♂️
May be wrong but you’ll be immune to your own waste product (sheep)
Will a logic flail mower cut grass to a “lawn / outfield” standard?
I have had a rough cut mower which has served me well but is about at its limit for life and so looking at the logic as I cut a fair few rushes (a lot to be honest) and dead grass in pastures but the rough cut has a blade and...
Thank you. Have looked tonight after dark and nearly sure it is mites of some description. Really surprised as just cleaned and disinfected it last week.
Obviously not far enough up the walls to get rid of all the mites.
Or Would mites jump back off birds back into shed ? Thinking they would...
Thanks for replies
@copse
No. Everything is happy. All go back to bed in an evening with no problem at all and none died . Red mites would be seen on a hen wouldn’t they? Will give them a dusting with red mite powder and see if that helps. Louse powder and red mite powder different things...
Some of out hens are losing feathers and very red. They look sore but are actually laying relatively normally and are not ‘acting’ sore.
As far as I can tell there is no red mite, they are not pecking at each other and we took one to the vet but they had no answers and gave a steroid injection...
I have a rough cut mower as above.
Using it yesterday and the clutch assembly /pulley has worn through.
I have internet searched and the company does not seem to exist anymore and so spare parts seem to be unobtainable
I know this is a bit of a no idea question but have I any possibilities...
In the grand scheme of thing I guess colour doesn’t matter but I do find the lighter they are the more brittle the shell seems to be. Hence my question re colour should maybe have been more re strength of shell and not colour. But I didn’t know the got lighter with age, so every day’s a...
Is there anywhere that I can get dozen egg boxes from? Can get millions of half dozen but keep looking on internet and eBay and no one seems to sell dozens. Other than picking up what people give us after buying at supermarkets ,they are like rocking horse muck.
Thank you.
We have 24 Hens that produce free range eggs. They are out from 12 until dark with literally free range over the garden (term loosely used😂) and fields close.
Have noticed since we have had to have them housed due to bird flu that the shells have gone very light in colour and I was thinking...
If something happened and it all went , the most vital thing you got out of life is a lovely wife and 2 great kids. And that would be worth more to you than you know. And in my eyes, a successful life .
That's really useful, thanks.
Surprised some people don't need to empty for decades....I thought it was yearly !!
The reason folk have to empty yearly is because so many detergent and bug killers are thrown down them. Bacteria and bugs is what makes them work surely?
Same here😂😂. But every Rudd colour! We use oil out of cooking fryer at hotel where my wife works and it does a great job. Joking aside, you do have to keep it out of the way of the dog!!
Not for alarm so no problems there, just using that size wire. But thinking about it , does that mean it will just not work (and make one pull their hair out ) or give a charge to the wire (and make your hair stand on end)
Duct itself isn’t long ,only about 25 metres, it is literally all the corners. They aren’t even all in the same way. 2 are horizontal corners and 2 are vertical!!!
Thanks for replies. Re quote above. I presume that’s a fishing line? That is in conjunction with compressor idea .
50 lb plus nice and stiff? Not stiff enough to push through surely? 😮. Never been fishing in my life so absolutely clueless , not being dismissive.
Why have I got 4 90s...
