    tb isolation units need there own cph number , ideally away from main holding with a badger proof building . calves can enter it for 6 weeks, then no more until all animals in it have 2 clear tests 60 days apart ,then if clear out and start again . good luck

    Speaking to someone who should now,I was told conversion is a 5 year deal on cs so not likely to be on Sfi but annual management payments may get moved to Sfi .so in his view cs to stay in some form .?

    i think we need to stop using cs rules for sfi , nowhere in the sfi rules does it say how long you need keep sam 3 , a mixture of grass/legume and herb for . dont get coned into an expensive herbal ley from the seed trade !

    have you got that in print from rpa ,as i can only get what they use for cs which are not the same as sfi .have been told as long as you achieve the aims with a mixture of grass/legumes and herbs .

    i think you may need to check your information as from what i have been told you can only change you sfi for year 2 not what you have done in year 1 ,as i see it you have to do what you applied for on the application and this can not be changed up or down . hope i am wrong

    i have had conversations with both cs and sfi helpline again today , and very help full but dont now how to solve the problem ,have been told both departments are going to talk to each other before getting back to me . the problem will not go away until they change the cs system .

    glad to here that i am not the only one , lady at cs says it could be a big issue and raised it with cs IT, as you say cs options do no need to be in until sept 24 but does not now when the computer system is upgraded . so to me thats a whole year of sam3 not paid for .

    Here is our problem ,that gov recommendation is for countryside stewardship not Sfi ,have spoken to other seed companies who could not answer, we’re are only looking to have these less down for 2/3 years in an arable rotation so don’t won’t to spend a fortune but be ok for Sfi .
