Does your signal sort of freeze, mine has been driving me crazy for some time. It's OK if the phone signal is good but just freezes when in poor reception area. The only way I can get it back is to turn the tractor off and back on which is a pain . I would love to know if anyone has found...
We were breaking tine carriers for fun but have stopped using it on our worst ground and just disc for a seed bed instead. I wouldn't want a drill on one round here as they are heavy enough without.
We have an older model without the autoload but I think it's a great piece of kit, very versatile and wraps square or round with only a change on the control box required. The squarer the bale the better, 120x90 are easier to wrap than 120x70, especially on a steep slope as they don't flop over...
Having had my 8svt for a few months now I think it's a huge step up up from the 77vt I used to drive and I find it a very pleasant place to spend the day, I do wonder how some things get past testing (steering wheel, indicator stalk, light swath and key position) but then I don't suppose they...
The lads I work with all have expensive Ram suction mounts, they also have expensive Ipads with cracked screens, mine is bolted to the frame and my screen is not broken. The suction pads will fall off eventually they just will.
The Massey needs taskdoc pro to export coverage, dont know if it's the same for Valtra but you would expect it to be part of the variable rate/section control package
What I should of said is the answer to the OP's question is in the video, I don't think you need section control unlocked just to draw an inner boundary. (Approx. 1 min in.)
We have a good relationship with our dealer but I know what you mean, I think the version the tractor came with was something that clearly was rushed out but the big update did improve a lot of things. The lad who has the massey guidance has probably spent at least half of his time with it...
Mainly from an ease of use point, we have both systems in use at the moment and I just find things are a lot easier on the c3000 due to its larger display, more logical menu layout and there is as a lot more info on screen. I'm sure things are improving all the time with the new system whereas...
I found the box but not the disc, I seem to remember trying to install it a few years ago without success but it did work when I first had it so it may have been time limited.
The black plastic U shape would be the sensor, there will be 2 clear lenses on the inside that should be kept clean, if its like the old one I used to use it over reads the seed when the sun shines on it. If it's an intermittent problem check the wiring for damage. I currently run a Kuhn planter...
Never done it but probably needs to be part of a task or whatever they call it, fortunately I have the c3000 screen so no need to bother with that screen
I am no expert but I am pretty sure that it will only show up if it's part of an imported job, you cannot create a boundary on that screen as far as I know.
