My guess is the deutz engine torque drops off significantly more as engine revs rise. The MAN engine likely has a flatter torque curve. The flatter torque curve would be my pick with a vario gearbox

I think the 170L is correct. The problem is the 3% reading on the fuel gauge is incorrect. It’s going to be a gamble how long to keep working for when the gauge says 0%

Well the fuel gauge is wrong. 225 tank - 170 used = 55 remaining. That’s 24% remaining. Crack on

They make number 34 for sticky ground

Those with dry powder extinguishers need to turn them upside down and give them a good shake or tap with a rubber mallet occasionally. Maybe do it every time oil is changed

While better than nothing, 1kg isn’t enough. 3kg dry powder or foam is a better starting point. If you are carrying water for the purpose of fire fighting, add a bit of soap/dishwashing liquid. It will make it more effective at penetrating built up chaff

In all reality there’s only 30mm difference in wheelbase. It’s the fitment of bigger tyres that ruins the steering lock

That’s TMS. Simply keeps engine rpm within that range. It is not traction control

Are you are talking about draft control that manages the 3 point linkage? As far as I’m aware there is no traction control that downshifts the transmission in response to wheel slip

Tuned 6420 yes. Tuned 6620 no. Probably would be close on pto work, but the 4.5l won’t hang with a tuned 6.8l on drawbar work

As always, we need to know axle weights. Or at least the heads you are running so someone can’t take a guess

I brought a Milwaukee one for the same reason. They don’t come as a kit with batteries here. Using my existing 5ah batteries I was disappointed. Brought an 8ah high output battery and it is much better.
