In work the wrenches get calibrated to the desired torque and labelled as such. Doesn’t matter what the markings on it say then. A couple of hundred for a big company is peanuts and they can keep the wrenches for ages as they’re calibrating the desired torque, not the markings on the tool.
I bought a 3/4 Teng torque wrench for doing the hub nuts on Ifor Williams trailers. Now use it for tractor nuts too. Makes running round them checking at service time a lot quicker.
I’m not sure you’ll get a simpler way. Many a time I’ve tried a shortcut, to waste time and have to do it the way I knew it should have been done in the first place.
Park it in a shed whilst dirty if washing out is a problem, or you want to get straight to ploughing. Whilst wet muck isn’t brilliant, it is a lot better than rained on muck.
I can guarantee you that 300 series arms drop. I wouldn’t try putting seals from this series in expecting a drastic improvement as I think you will be disappointed.
If it doesn’t have an aux pump the only way is to use a diverter valve, which bolts on the top of the transmission just in front of the seat. When you use the valve to provide oil to the spool, pressure support to the linkage is lost and it starts dropping as if you turned the engine off.

We had a real rough noise coming from our 390T a few years back, more like banging than that rattling. Somehow, despite being serviced properly, the oil pump had disintegrated. What we think happened was this caused the balancer gears to ride over each other. We got a balancer unit from a...
It’s not just in the trades. I work in an office as a systems engineer. You get some good young people coming in, but you also get people with no drive, no mental flexibility or problem solving skills and those who want to get promoted into a position where they think the work is easier as...
Also known as the most fiddly filter to change on the entire tractor.
We also have one right down in the bottom of the tans, near the drain plug. The hitch frame (or perhaps it is the loader frame?) stops it being accessed.
When I had to make a new slider, I just used 8.8 standard bolts. The 27mm head is just to reduce the number of spanners needed to come with the plough.
10.9s would be better I would say.
I would also say that the bolt have failed because they have come loose. The female threads in the slider might be damaged. Clean them up good and use thread lock when reassembling.
