    3 x heston bale grab

Granted, he’s only using 90/120 bales, but even with 3 of those his 320s, the headstock knows it’s on there

    3 x heston bale grab

Heath would be my choice, a neighbour has one which he’s yet to break, which is saying something as he wrecks most things he owns.

    New toy day

Whilst I think those are fantastic ideas for bale trailers, what are plod/vosa’s views on them? When I asked the head man of the above trailers at a show, he was quite rude to me for questioning it.

    A question on weight

Right, thanks for the replies, have been on the phone to Ron at Maidwell Molers with my conundrum, he said what they advise in situations like this, and something they do themselves is to add weight to the front of the mole plough. A much simpler and cheaper solution than adding wheel weights

    A question on weight

I thought it was an unwritten law that if you have a mole plough in Northants it has to be one of Ron’s, plus we are related to him so…….

    A question on weight

Always wondered if some ballast was added to the front of the mole plough would help

    A question on weight

A bigger tractor isn’t really an option at the moment, but would definitely be the answer long term. Definitely putting more weight on the front would be easier.

    A question on weight

We are running 180hp tractors, around 7500kgs in weight, one of their duties is pulling a mounted mole plough, occasionally they’ll struggle with traction so my question is this, would I be better off putting more weight on the front linkage (currently has a 1000kg block on it) or would adding...

Massey 7719s rear linkage very slow going down?

I think the 7719’s were vario only so they’ll be Fendt backends. On 18’s you can set it so more/less oil is diverted to the linkage or spools via the datatronic screen, maybe it’s set so very little oil is going to the linkage:unsure:

    Best air shield face mask/helmet

Exactly the same here, had mine from Axeminster tools. Being a glasses wearer I find it excellent as it stops my glasses from misting up whilst wearing it.

    Dealer stickers from yesteryear.

Also at Northampton, Brackley and Banbury. I have fond memories as a child of visiting their Northampton depot on a Saturday lunchtime after market with my father and just sitting on the quads in their showroom, hoping my father would get the hint and buy one, the tight sod didn’t. The site is...

Control box mounting ideas for MF 7620

Slowly moved over to Ram Mount for all our control boxes, clamped onto the rhs door frame. Not cheap but very good and means the boxes are very easy to remove when not in use.

We went past @Mad For Muck yesterday morning and his Bunnings were doing a fantastic job spreading at a wide width.

    The happy customer thread

Everyone loves a moan at poor service so I’d like to buck the trend and say what fantastic service I got from @masseybreaker the other week, I phoned regarding two springs to replace the crap suspension system on a 6400 series MF and they arrived next day, just got them fitted this morning with...
