    After a cheep shovel for buckraking have seen a 1999 Jcb 426 looks tidy would need wheels changing to Agri from what I can see it is a ton heavier than a 416 what other differences is there? Limited slip diff ect? Both seem to be a Perkins 6cly turbo engine

    Nearly 10 years since I started this thread, still got the 8130 she’s done a lot of work over the years and just recently I’ve had to put a charge pump and main pump in, it’s now working better than ever hydraulics are really fast she’s also now running full RTK auto steer :cool:

    Buckrake on the front radiator is well clean start of the day but soon fills up with dry grass this time of year I currently use a cordless leaf blower which does work well just tedious getting off every couple of loads and getting covered in shite doing it

    Yea I was going to use air not water just a blast might be enough to clear the radiator enough to carry on again for a while, did wounder if a big 12v could be mounted to blow it out

    With the wet weather im considering flotations for the silage trailer which would also be handy for carting muck ect seen some 600/55 r22.5 trailer is a West 12t on super singles I reckon it would sit 25mm or so higher and 200mm wider on the 600s if I’ve got it right?     Im pretty sure it’s the ml160 box and your diagnosis makes a lot of sense a worn swash plate pump bearing can let the rotor in the pump which contains the pistons Jack itself away from the sealing surface it runs against this causes a total drop in oil pressure until it reseals again

    You can remove all the rubber from between the cab and the mount and them little spacers then shorten the bolts that fixes it solid to the cab then just replace the big round rubber bush I did this on my 6485 and the ride is still good

    The most common place they loose fluid is the metal pipe on the backend corrodes away as it sits where muck builds up and gets a pin hole in it I had this with my 7480 once, I remember the fluid because I had to get some specially but that’s good to know it can have LHM in, the local motor...

    Yea it makes a fair difference you can wedge it down if you want will just smoke more at low revs
