Had another wet day here again. Went to feed a small group of lambs in the “specials” field. I didn’t feed them as their troughs were hiding somewhere in a puddle....... There wasn’t so much as damp patch in the field earlier.
The sheep in the 8th picture was very distressed on my first check round. On closer inspection one of her new born lambs had fallen in the ditch and had crawled up the drainpipe. I’m stood in the ditch looking up at her. She seemed so happy when I gave her her baby back. Makes what we do worthwhile.
