We had 2 groups of Romney’s and the scanning report came out at 146% & 133%. I hadn’t actually done the maths myself....

We scanned our Romney’s at 140% (1st & 2nd timers) Singles 195 Twins 284 Trips 12 Empty 32 Mules scanned at 201% Singles 162 Twins 354 Trips 194 Quads 12 Empty 21 At least we have less Trips & quads than last year....

I have this one in my van. I took the centre partition out to give them a bit more room. They can both lay flat out at the same time in it and they’re not small dogs. I like the fact I can lock it if I’m not with my van and leave the doors open for ventilation. My other dog is in a separate cage...

Some new arrivals for some tasty Suffolk grass ?

Had another wet day here again. Went to feed a small group of lambs in the “specials” field. I didn’t feed them as their troughs were hiding somewhere in a puddle....... There wasn’t so much as damp patch in the field earlier.

Got a few more today before the heavens opened.

The sheep in the 8th picture was very distressed on my first check round. On closer inspection one of her new born lambs had fallen in the ditch and had crawled up the drainpipe. I’m stood in the ditch looking up at her. She seemed so happy when I gave her her baby back. Makes what we do worthwhile.
