    Stock fencing price per m.

Sorry to hijack but is relevant, anyone had any prices for dear fencing lately? had someone ask for £19 per meter, why seems way over the top to me. for context it’s a about 350m need doing and it’s on nice flat land. in fact if anyone on here wants to come to ormskirk and do some dear fencing...

Bobcat 320 mini digger - sump plug location

Now then, I had a 320, easiest machine in the world to service if it hasn’t been altered. Open the back door and there ‘should’ be a rubber pipe sticking out the bottom that’s blanked off, that where you drain the sump. No getting underneath fecking about, I wish its replacement was as easy to do

    Excavator bucket size for muck/compost

If you’ve got a loader tractor get an adapter so your digger can pickup the loader stuff, and 8 ton will manage a modest loader bucket on light stuff, you could also use a grab if needed and pallet forks are hellish handy on a digger

Best 4 cylinder tractor from the 1980s-1990s

https://www.jbournetractors.co.uk/in-stock/mccormick-mc115/ not too many electrics, a lot newer and a dam site better to drive than something off of the 80’s

    Excavator auxiliary lines

On my 2016 8 ton Volvo I have to press a switch on the joystick which turns the oil from the offset boom to auxiliary service, then on the side console there’s a button with a breaker and a grab on it, I press once for single acting or twice for double acting. I’m not familiar with the 6 ton so...

    Hitachi

I may have a Volvo 88 coming up for sale in the next couple of weeks, 2016 and by then will have just turned 2000hrs. Tidy thing. that said you won’t go wrong with the hitachi, fwiw I prefer the boom up the side of the cab for farm work, but the offset is a must on site work

    Small excavator choice

I’ve a bobcat 320 here (for sale as a new one coming this week) it’s around 1.6 ton. They’re a fairly simple machine with not much to wrong. give it a service when you get it, service kit is £60, if your dealer is struggling with the older model it’s the same kit as an e10. You won’t find an...
